Since finishing my acting training at drama school De Trap in Amsterdam in 2010, I have worked as an actress in the theatre and for film and television.
Over the past few years, I have had parts in several television series & films. Recent TV projects include the series ‘Medisch Centrum West’ (Talpa Network), ‘Escape from Albatros’ (KRO/NCRV) and ‘Het jaar van Fortuyn’ (NPO/AVROTROS) miniseries ‘BuZa’ (BNN/VARA), ‘Upload’ (De Nationale Opera), ‘Divorce’ (RTL4), ‘Verborgen gebreken’ (NET5), the children’s show ‘What’s Up?’ (NTR), ‘Always the funniest’ (VARA humor TV), and in several films including ‘Quiz’ by Dick Maas, ‘The Cottage’ (Shadow Tree Films) and ‘A little less conversation’ (NTR/The Media Brothers).
In 2017 I co-founded Actors Anonymous an Amsterdam based English-language theatre company. I played the role of Veronica in their successful run of ‘The God of Carnage’, by Yasmina Reza. Other recent theatre credits include: the role of Sophie in the comedy ‘WET’ by Screw Productions, and Susannah in the dark comedy ‘Becky Shaw’, by Actors Anonymous. I have also had the pleasure of performing with an array of other theatre companies, including the Amsterdam BosTheater and the Dutch Comedy Theatre.
Besides my work as an actress I do a lot of voice-over work. I frequently provide the voice-overs for television and radio commercials, documentaries, corporate films and animation films & series. Over the years I have developed a strong and versatile style which I enjoy perfecting and fine-tuning.
Before graduating from drama school I gained my Master’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Utrecht and worked as an editor and copywriter in the media industry.
